Ergonomically designed, the Sashay Pedal Chair enables patients to self-propel with their hands or feet to increase mobility and independence. Broda’s combination of Comfort Tension Seating®, 18˚ of adjustable Tilt-in-Space seating and unique feature set provides therapeutic pressure relief aiding in the treatment of pressure ulcers, edema and pain management providing enhanced patient comfort and quality of life.

The Sashay’s adjustable Hemi style floor to seat height paired with our front pivot point provides proper foot on floor placement which enables individuals to be placed in an ergonomically correct position for self-propulsion. Optional front mount mag wheels facilitate hand propulsion allowing patients to socialize and engage with their surroundings.

With industry-leading features and functionality such as 18˚ of adjustable Tilt-in-Space seating, height adjustable arms and optional swing away footrest, the Sashay Pedal Chair aids in treating multiple conditions for varying levels of care. Adjustable, removable upper lateral supports combined with tilt provide exceptional positioning and support decreasing postural deviations such as head drop, lateral lean and slumping as well as decreasing falls.
